According to the 2008 adopted Russian State Standard GOST ò 52906-2008 that for the first time regulates the general requirements to the fueling equipment in the Russian Federation, GrAZ was one of the first in modernizing aircraft refuelers.
The aircraft refuelers ôZá-10 have been designed for fuel transportation and for airplanes refueling with filtered aircraft fuel both pure and mixed with fuel system icing inhibitor agents (density 0.8-0.83 t/m3). The aircraft refuelers are utilized in airports of all the classes at air temperature from -40°C to +40°C.
According to the 2008 adopted Russian State Standard GOST ò 52906-2008 the following has been mounted on the TZA-10: 1. Deadman System. In case the operator has not reacted it will shut down the refueling operation. 2. Level Limiter in the tank with fuel system icing inhibitor agents. In case fuel limit level in the tank is reached the system generates an audio and visual signal and also the signal to switch off the external pump. 3. óhassis Movement Blocking System. It blocks the chassis if: a. the filling hose has not been disconnected; b. the power takeoff has not been switched off; c. the doors of the pump and filter unit have not been closed. 4. Hatch with 600 mm diameter. It makes the tank service easier.
Following our customers’ requests and to improve operational properties an additional modernization have been taken and since the end 2008 1. constructive changes have been introduced: a. a swing front bearing. The hinge allows to lower influence of bend and torsion deformations of the chassis frame on a superstructure which increases tank service life; b. a safety platform (made of dinking sheet) and a platform handrail made of aluminum alloy. 2. Standard equipment includes a. high corrosion resistance and light weight aluminum guard of the pump and filter unit. b. corrosion-resistant planished stainless steel box for spare tools, accessories and sand. 3. Optional equipment can include: a. Alfons Haar water pump assembly with built-in overflow valve and water pump (for hose reel drive), it is more reliable as it has not complementary transmission devices; b. Alfons Haar dispensing hose reels, supplied as a unit with hydraulic motors, the hose reels are more reliable and ergonomical than those domestically produced.
Due to the vast experience and strict quality management system used at all production stages the plant manufactures competitive products that have proved to be of high quality, reliability and safety.
